VetsterRx Price Match Guarantee

If you find your prescribed items listed for less on another site, VetsterRx will match that price. This article explains who's eligible and how to submit a request.

Updated this week

Before you begin

  • You must submit your price match request within 3 hours of placing your order.

  • Price matching applies to first-time purchases only — it does not apply to refills or autoship orders.

  • Have the competitor's product page URL ready before you start.

  • Note that price matching is only available for customers in the US.

Eligibility

Your request qualifies for a price match if all of the following are true:

  • The product is identical in brand and quantity to what you ordered through VetsterRx.

  • The lower price is publicly listed on the competitor's website at the time you submit your request.

  • The price you're matching is the regular advertised price — prices that require a discount code, coupon, or promotion do not qualify.

  • It's your first time ordering the product through VetsterRx.

All prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and prescription diets are eligible.

A price match cannot be combined with other promotions (for example, a flea and tick discount).

How to request a price match

  1. Place your order through VetsterRx as normal.

  2. Open the VetsterRx Price Match request form within 3 hours of placing your order.

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    • Your first and last name

    • Your email address

    • The prescription name (for example: Apoquel, Simparica Trio)

    • The advertised price at the retailer

    • The URL of the competitor's product page showing the lower price

  4. Click Submit.

If you're price matching more than one item, submit a separate form for each product.

What happens next

Your request will be reviewed within 72 hours. If approved, a partial refund will be issued to your original payment method — no action needed on your end.

Vetster reviews all requests and reserves the right to decline price matches at its discretion, including requests from retailers that don't meet our standards.
